No problem, besides I didn't join in the fun until the turnaround in NYC when you headed South so who knows I could show up in Patti's pics somewhere. 😉

If you do please let us know! :classic_cool:

I prefer the yachts with their own choppers onboard! 😉

This one was in Freeport in May of '22. Enjoying your review, photos and history lessons. 🙂

I tried to get photos of the yacht names so I can look up who owns them!

We were AFT on Deck 7 in a balcony also. Our Cabin steward was Roh, and he too was terrific.

That's who we had for our B2B last month. He did a great job (once he remembered to leave the Fun Times). Very nice, conscientious guy.

Day # 4  -  9/26/23  -  Saint John, NB  (8am – 7:30pm).

We were up at 7am just as the Venezia was approaching Saint John. We sailed through a small fog bank and were docked just before 8am. It’s going to be a sunny and chilly 55-65 degree day here today. Here is the bow camera view of the Venezia docked in Saint John…..

Here are today’s Fun Times…..

Again, we don’t have any excursions booked today so we aren’t in any rush to get off the ship. I went up to the Java Blue Café for a coffee and then back to the cabin to work on pictures for a while. I wasn’t hungry for breakfast, but Patti was, so she went up to the Lido Marketplace to get herself an omelet. After she ate, she took some pictures of the Saint John port area. In the first one you can see the fog bank that we sailed through earlier…..

To leave the terminal you had to walk through the Waterfront Container Village. This place is pretty cool and has replaced the huge tent that they used to have here. We will cover this area a little later on…..

The Ropes Course and Sports Square aren’t busy at all…..

IMG_6438-XL.jpg

There’s some Pickleball action going on…..

IMG_6437-XL.jpg

At this point we both made our way back to the cabin to relax and nap until sail away. When we did sail away at 7:45pm it was already dark outside, so nothing really to take pictures of. After our late lunch we weren’t really hungry for a full meal, so we went to the Lido Marketplace again for something light. Patti made herself a salad, and saw that they had jambalaya, so she brought me a bowl……

IMG_6442-XL.jpg

IMG_6444-XL.jpg

I went to the deli for a grilled ham and cheese and some fries…..

IMG_6443-XL.jpg

Afterwards, Patti was tired from all the walking she did today, so she decided to head back to the cabin and read. I went down to the Lobby Bar and had some double Bacardi and Pepsi’s until it was time for Family Feud: After Hours. I got a seat back by the bar. You’re not allowed to take pictures during the show, so I took a couple of pre-show pictures before putting the camera away…..

IMG_6446-XL.jpg

IMG_6445-XL.jpg

The show was hilarious. Don’t miss it if your ship offers it. I went back to the Lobby Bar for a few more drinks until the doors opened for the Late Night Comedy Showcase in the Teatro Rosso. Tonight we will have two new comedians…..

IMG_6450-XL.jpg

Comedy Club Host Mathew (with one “T”) gets it started….

IMG_6452-XL.jpg

IMG_6458-XL.jpg

First up is JeROME. He was very good……

IMG_6470-XL.jpg

IMG_6471-XL.jpg

IMG_6476-XL.jpg

Carl Faulkenberry was next. He was excellent!

IMG_6499-XL.jpg

IMG_6495-XL.jpg

IMG_6492-XL.jpg

Afterwards, it was back to the cabin for the night.

Coming up next: Our return to Halifax and the Harbourwalk!
