Catherine’s Cafe or Sheer Rocks?

Has anyone been to both Catherine’s Cafe and Sheer Rocks? If so, which did you like better and why?

Personally, for something that’s very special, qwerty and not available anywhere else, then it has to be a Rock Pool Day at Sheer Rocks, with the little extras that raise the experience to the next level.  The food, drinks and service are excellent at both SR and Catherine’s (being part of the same company), but the views from SR take a lot of beating.

There is no beach at SR

SR also offers a Day Pass for a sun bed by the communal pool, with the spectacular views, plus the same excellent service, food and drinks

If seeking a “Beach Day”, with excellent food/drinks/service, well away from S.H.T. in Antigua, then the recommendation has to be Catherine’s Cafe.

Book early at both as space is deliberately limited.

Check out their respective webs and TripAdvisor to then make an informed decision.

Is there “rush hour” traffic getting back from Catherine’s Cafe? Both restaurants look amazing, and trying to figure out if it is worth going further to a beach, or closer to a pool/view. I wish we had two days in Antigua so I could do both!

We are in port from 9:00am-5:00 pm.

From Catherine’s, allow an extra 15 minutes to be so very safe

Is there a charge for lounger use at Catherine's? I looked at their website and couldn't find anything about that, just menus.

Beds, loungers and all facilities are only for paying patrons taking food/drinks, for which there was no charge.  Book one’s lunch/drinks/day in advance.

@WisCruiser2 Just remembered… There is a Day Pass for “Beds”….
Think this is the site one was possibly searching for.

@PORT ROYAL looks like that's a "summer special." We'll be going in February, so will just make a reservation if we decide to go there. Thanks!

Sympathise with one’s selection problem,

Catherine’s, Sheer Rocks or Cecelia’s.  Decisions, decisions….

Unfortunately Catherine’s is not doing day passes at this time. I talked with them a few days ago to confirm our reservation and got this info. We have daybeds booked, but will just order off the menu.
