Our upcoming Oasis cruise will be the first as D+. Currently, the DBP is priced at 77.99/pp per day. Does anyone have insight as to if it will be cheaper onboard utilizing the 30% D+ discount? The pre-cruise planner states the $77.99 price reflects 20% off $98 onboard, but we all know how creative Royal Math can be at times.

I've only seen it higher, not lower once you board.

In almost every case it will be cheaper to purchase the DBP pre-cruise from the Cruise Planner.

You can buy it now and if by some miracle the price on board is cheaper, you can cancel the planner purchase and buy on board. On board you can usually delay buying the package by a day making the math to buy on board a bit better.

 

Of course you have the do the math as well - will you really drink 5-6 drinks on top of the 5 you already get as a D+?
