Anyone know what the schedule change is for today’s sailing on Eclipse?

We are in LA on our way to the cruise terminal.  Got a notification of of an itinerary change and they said that a letter would be in our cabin.
 

I called Celebrity and they don’t know what’s going on. I do know that there is a hurricane in the area of Cab San Lucas, but it seems to be headed away from us going, north eastward, and we’re not scheduled to be there for two days.

Cruisemapper shows Eclipse heading to Cabo for the overnight and then San Diego.

I checked with Guest services, and they said that a decision has not yet been made as to what they are doing. It’s up to the captain. They haven’t fully cleaned our room yet, so we don’t have any letter. I’ll let you guys know when I find out. I’m hoping they don’t divert to Catalina or something like that, that will be a bummer.

In my experience, Cruisemapper does not update when there is a last minute change in ports.

So the captain said that the plan right now is that we will go to Cabo San Lucas. He said if the storm changes track or if they have to change their plans, they do have a back up plan, but for now we’re headed to Cabo.
