No, look at picture carefully, and it has glass walls into the restaurants.

Not exactly direct and most definitely opaque, but yes, the walls, or panels seen, are windows into the restaurant and will let in an amount of natural light.

Ok, some misunderstanding - yes it has glass walls but no direct windows to outside (as light through the restaurants). And quite narrow paths to the outside especially on QG side, but looks good. Do QV and QE have walls then (I only know the rather underwhelming QM2 Grills lounge)? I know as only a one time cruiser which table we will be given in PG in June - not one of the ones lining the windows unfortunately...

More will be from the roof dome - nice feature

The deck 11 lounges on the Vistas are magic. The whole frontage is windowed, almost floor to ceiling,  so you can look out to the deck and beyond.

As a  Vista cruiser, I have been spoilt whch is why the QA lounge makes me a bit sad that's not somehow been replicated.

Seats, for shorties like me might need more than one cushion and the seating generally does not appear, at initial glance to be one which prior to my knee op, I would easily have got out of.

Hoists anyone?  😄

A 10 min review. Though looks like Cunard issue video with 3rd party commentary

Folks you should take everything back - looks b***** fantastic!

(Queens Room is probably the lowlight though!)

I also take it back - this may well have been filmed by the guys commentating

The Grills Lounge is much better than I had expected, but a disappointment in comparison with the wonderful ones in the Vistas.

Looking at the full length hanging space in the standard cabin sure doesn't bode well for the dress code... surely this is not the extent of it. But it appears to be.  There's more hanging space in an old wardrobe trunk than this.  And how on earth is this going to work for anything over seven days? I count maybe eight hangers wide or what, room for four suit jackets tops. Sq. footage wise, the standard cabins are not smaller than QV/QE so what gives with the closets?? Send the missus to change the table and unpack before she gets back would be my advice...

There's the additional slim wardrobe next to the bed - or is that the one you are talking about?

More wardrobes = less cabin space, so I guess it's a trade off

"The slim wardrobe" appears to be the only full length hanging wardobe... the ones off the passageway are shelved or have half height hanging space. Of course, keeping up with the marathon runners filming these things makes it difficult to ascertain but the closet space seems.... constrained to say the least.

The ship seems tailored for a younger demographic and I certainly agree with what others have said - that’s good for Cunard.
As I have said too, many younger people do seem very interested in my TA stories and the idea of dressing up to go on a Cunard so this ship may be a gateway for new Cunard paying guests. Tweaks and changes will be made, like removing the banquets in QG and having two parallel sets of tables creating a wider walkway for trolleys and wait staff.
QR needs a glamour infusion too.

I am pretty certain I saw another wider full length wardrobe. Anyway, it seemed more than enough space for three weeks worth for us, and I always keep to the dress code, which nowhere says you must wear something different every night.

The producers of this video are well-know YouTube cruise vloggers who call things as they are and have been critical of Cunard (and other lines) in their past vlogs. Getting rave first impression reviews from these guys is a positive sign.

I am not sure it is particularly tailored to the younger. Certainly, there are lots of things I have no interest in, like the wellness stuff, and the extra charge restaurants, but I know of lots of people of my age and older are interested. Anyway, the other ships are full of stuff I have no interest in like the casino and the spa, and so on. However, there are clearly lots of nice places indoors with good views of the sea and a very promising library. That seems to cover most of my occupations. But it is a worry nothing has been so much as mentioned about a Prom Deck.

I've seen a film of it somewhere but I can't remember where. It's pretty much as expected, a bit narrow in places,  blocked by lifeboats in others so possible to do a circuit but not sit on a steamer chair.

The casino looks naff compared with the rest of it. I guess Cunard want the money from it but….

I am meeting this couple for a meal in Southampton tonight before they board tomorrow for the Maiden. Be interesting to hear their views. On the whole they are big Cunard Fans

If the Vistas are anything to go by, the casino will be pretty empty on her European cruises. Is the space easily convertible to single cabins, I wonder?

All looks good to me being part of the younger demographic (63!)

Like the other ships too, so can appreciate more than one type of class...
