It applies to money spent with Celebrity or Royal, excluding purchases made while on board. Disclaimer: Some are prompt to say there are better travel cards for rewards. I can’t argue, but for those who have signed up for the card and are looking to earn onboard credit (not as easy to earn as it once was), this is the time to make a payment on your cruise. I truly believe they have quit sending us emails once we reach a critical number of sailings or CC points. Looking for new blood. So I don’t think I could get the credit. I also use a travel agent and the charges show up as being from Celebrity Cruises. Actually, I’ve used this promotion with 2 different agents/agencies. Maybe give your agent a call to double check with them before you choose to make a payment that you normally wouldn’t. Be up front and let them know why you need to know.
