Can you still bring a 12 pack (cans) of soda or sparkling water?

Cans or cartons, but not bottles.

You can also replenish your soda on a port day and bring another 12 pack on board with you.

I just recently heard that and feel dumb I didn't know this before.  😄

When staying in a hotel night before rather than going straight to ship day of sailing, if you use food delivery service most let you add on items from convenience stores. We got a couple 12 packs that way so we had them to start the cruise. No worries about the extra weight or space in the luggage!

I've found cans and cartons of water to be hard to find. So I just order the water. They don't allow bottles, though some people are able to get them on. I haven't been on carnival since before covid.

On HAL, they've done away with this perk. And it's kind of hit and miss on how it's enforced at the port.
