Rdclfamily Posted November 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2023 Can you still bring a 12 pack (cans) of soda or sparkling water? I read that you can put this in your carryon, but I'm not seeing this on Carnival's policies.

To keep from taking up space inside my suitcase, I set it on top and strap it to the pull handle with a bungee cord.
groundloop Posted November 11, 2023 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2023 Cans or cartons, but not bottles. You can also replenish your soda on a port day and bring another 12 pack on board with you.

When staying in a hotel night before rather than going straight to ship day of sailing, if you use food delivery service most let you add on items from convenience stores. We got a couple 12 packs that way so we had them to start the cruise. No worries about the extra weight or space in the luggage!
Joebucks Posted November 14, 2023 #9 Share Posted November 14, 2023 I'm honestly still surprised you can bring cans and wine. Enjoy it while you can.
cruisecrazy2691 Posted November 15, 2023 #10 Share Posted November 15, 2023 Wish that I had come here first. I just bought a 12 pack water on carnival to be delivered to our cabin for $11.75 ($9.95+tax)! Oh well…

So I just order the water. They don't allow bottles, though some people are able to get them on. I haven't been on carnival since before covid. On HAL, they've done away with this perk. And it's kind of hit and miss on how it's enforced at the port.
