MDR Make the evening special selections?

On the evening MDR menu every night they offer a Filet Mignon 7ox with potatoes and mushrooms, for a fee.  My question do they allow substitutions from mushrooms to asparagus or is there another vegetable that is offered?

You may request other vegetables, if it is in the galley.  I have seen lots of broccoli and sometimes asparagus.  Even have been offered Shanghai cabbage.

I saw that the lobster tail came with asparagus and was hoping the galley had that ready to go.

I know you are likely thinking of the CG menu items.  I don't think you can do that directly, but it helps if asparagus is on menu for another dish.  I was able to get some Applewood Smoked Salt one night.
