Kono and Honolulu non-ship excursions

Been to Kono and Honolulu several times and have done ship excursions in the past.  Would prefer to do non-ship excursions for upcoming March 2024 cruise.  How do-able is getting non-ship excursions on the piers?  For Kono will be tendering in.

There will be a couple people around offering their services, but you never know their quality. And, just having the ship at some of the outlying islands, can seriously tap most of the established vendors.

 

Better to find a recommended vendor here and book directly, in advance.

You might want to consider renting a car and having a DIY excursion. There's lots to see and do, and you can spend as much time as you want instead of following an excursion's set time table.
