Sail away - where do you like to go?

Have sailed on RCL in the past, and several of their ships have "bridge wings" which is a great spot to enjoy a sail away, especially departing port on the embarkation day. We are sailing on Bliss in March and I'm curious if there are any "hidden gems" for sail away viewing. We have a standard balcony room, so that's one option.

I guess it depends what you want to see as you sail away. We like to watch the shore disappear into the distance, while watching what's along the shore as we go. So we rarely go to the poolside party because we can't see anything. We tend to roam the ship, taking in the view from various vantage points for an hour or two, while also familiarizing ourselves with the ship - all with a drink in hand, of course.

Sailing away next week on the Joy out of Panama City at midnight - can't wait to try a new line, new ship class, maybe a new drink! We booked the Vibe, should be amazing!

Unless we are exhausted and fall asleep by 10:00, which is entirely possible! 😉
