mjkacmom Posted December 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2023 If the person who cancels has insurance, they should file a claim with insurance, NCL isn’t refunding them.

So one person in the room will not be refunded, as the room cost does not change. You may get some taxes and fees back.

How close are you to the cruise date? If you cancel after the 120 days final payment date, you will not be getting a full refund and it depends on how close to the cruise date on how much it is. It might be best if you work out a deal with the person to buy out there portion if they are looking for a refund. Rare 1025cruise Posted December 4, 2023 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2023 If you are past final payment, there is no refund. Unless you have insurance.

There is a tiered refund amount after the final payment date. 2
Rare Liljo22 Posted December 4, 2023 #8 Share Posted December 4, 2023 With the schedule I posted above, if your travel partner is dead set on getting a refund, it might be better to figure out what the refund would be and just pay them that amount. Probably be cheaper than losing both fares and then having to pay the single supplement.

If it is after final payment, the person not going loses part/all of their cruise fare as a penalty.
