Can we walk to the cruise port.

We are staying 2 nights at the Comfort Hotel Grand Central and are having a hard time finding out the distance to the cruise terminal.  We will be departing on 9/15 on NCL Star and wondering if we can walk to the cruise terminal or do we need a taxi.  Thanks

Assuming Oslo.  List of port calls in Oslo for 2024 not yet available - Depending on port there might be 1 mile from your hotel to the port - definitely walk able.

Short answer is yes. There are no port security or infrastructure barriers that prevent you from walking to embarkation.

Longer answer is maybe. There has been a big push to move ships to the new cruise pier that’s 10-15 minutes directly south of the central station. However, the past season there have still been some ships using the Filipstad pier which is closer to 45 minutes’ walk. I’ve walked to Filipstad before, but it was a 3-night cruise and I didn’t have much luggage.
