Discovery Bars

Hi, can anyone help, is there a gin and whisky bar in Squid and Anchor on Discovery please? Thanks

Wow after many cruises the last thing I would worry about was the drinks menu, just wish we could book another cruise and just live with the onboard drinks, please just enjoy the cruise experience.

We always enjoy our cruise, I only asked if there was a gin and whisky bar, Discovery is the only ship we haven't been on and I don't think it was a controversial question sorry.

Yes mate they had a good choice. Bar 11 was good as well for a whiskey & cocktail.

You'll enjoy it. I was quite surprised by how well she is considering she's getting on in age. The bar selections were pretty good all over the boat. Bar eleven has some interesting choices. 

 

One thing I would say is I wouldn't book with kids unless its during the english school holidays.

I have put this question on this thread to save opening another one regarding Discovery so here goes.

We are on Discovery during June this year, could anyone tell me if deck nine balcony cabin bathrooms have a glass door or is it the dreaded shower curtain.?

Sure there are no cabins on deck 9 or Discovery , there is on the Explorer.

Almost certain decks 6 and up were refurbished with glass doors ,we was on 8 that had a door .

Had a look on the deck plans and the cabin we have booked is showing a square shower which means a glass door can be fitted easily.

When looking at YouTube videos the shower curtains were usually on the quarter round trays so I am quite hopeful.

Shower curtains just seem to want to fight with me.😳

hi, we  were on discovery  Christmas and new year  2022/23 deck 7  balcony cabin  and it was  a lovely glass door shower cubicle.
