Horizon Thrill Theater

Good evening!

 

My PVP told me the thrill theater is back open, but I haven’t seen anyone on various platforms talking about it when referring to the IMAX. Has anyone been on recently that can confirm or deny?

Oh that's right thrill theater is across from IMAX on those ships. I'm not sure if that's still there or not. I don't think that was ever in the fun times listings now that I think about it.. I wouldn't think they'd put a casino up there by all of the kids stuff.

It's still listed as an onboard activity so I would think they have it. It was closed when I was on Vista two years ago but that was still during the covid protocols.

I don't know what else they could put in the Thrill Theater area on deck 6 of the Horizon or Vista, other than inside staterooms or a bigger arcade...not exactly high revenue stuff. They could rip out the entire multiplex, that would be a decent amount of space on 3 decks, but that's a huge undertaking and a major renovation for what is still interior space.

It is (or was) a 5-D theater. I did one where you do various roller coasters and on the log ride you’d get sprayed with water. I did a horror one where you’d feel something on your legs. And something sticking you in the back. Things like that.
