Platinum only. You can always ask if they have space but usually it's a no. And they checked status on room keys the last time I went!

I can't speak for all cases on all ships, but I can say that on several occasions I have heard someone ask this question of the Cruise Next Manager.  Their response was invariably "Sorry, but no."
