Rare craig01020 Posted January 8 #1 Share Posted January 8 Good morning. I need to cancel a reservation for Premier Inn. When I attempt to do it online, I get an error. Has anyone here ever called them from the US? Thanks

Rare Harters Posted January 8 #3 Share Posted January 8 (edited) The individual hotel webpage should have its phone number. Just add 44, as our country code, and delete the first 0 in the number. Premier Inn reception desks are staffed 24/7 so your time difference shoudnt be an issue. Surprised you're having a problem doing this online. I regularly use PI and generally find it's one of the better hotel websites to navigate round. Edited January 8 by Harters

I've used their website before and always found it very user-friendly, but something is obviously broken here. I tried calling using the Premier's main UK number and I did get through. The voice menu said press 3 for cancellations, so I did. Then the recording said "our reservation agents cannot cancel a reservation over the phone." 🤪 I'll try calling the individual hotel. Thanks. Just a thought - have you tried using their app (if you have smartphone access) as an alternative to the website?

Rare craig01020 Posted January 9 Author #7 Share Posted January 9 Update: I was able to get through to a reservation agent who cancelled the reservation for me. Now let's hope I get the refund. She said the reason is because they got a new reservation system and the original booking was made on the old system.
