Auckland cruise ship terminal

Our Noordam cruise starts in Auckland and is scheduled to depart at 7 PM.   We have to check out of our hotel at 10 AM on the morning of the cruise and we plan to spend time at Waiheke Island before boarding the ship in the afternoon.   Is there somewhere at the terminal that we can leave our luggage before boarding the ship in the afternoon?

I do not know about the terminal, but hotels are usually pretty good about holding luggage after checkout.

We found a place at princes wharf, called luggage hotel.

You should be able to drop off your luggage at the cruise terminal when you check out of your hotel. Luggage Drop off At Auckland Cruise Terminal

Suggest you see what is the earliest they would allow you to board. when we boarded in Auckland our ship also did not sail until evening. we got on the ship with our luggage about 11 am, had lunch and then got off again to spend the afternoon ashore. 

 

however it was a RWC and very few passengers boarding in Auckland so I might be completely wrong!
