Effective January 22, pricing for a la carte MedallionNet WiFi packages purchased pre-cruise is increasing, with onboard pricing for a la carte MedallionNet WiFi packages increasing on voyages embarking January 31 and beyond.
This change does not affect pricing for Princess Plus and Princess Premier bundles (BUNDLE PRICING IS NOT INCREASING), further enhancing the incredible value of these inclusive packages.
Princess Plus and Princess Premier bundles are already the best value in cruising and this recent adjustment to MedallionNet pricing makes this value even greater, giving guests one inclusive price for the things they typical purchase on board - MedallionNet, drinks, crew appreciation and specialty/casual dining options and more.
One Device (full voyage)
Current Price: $14.99 per day
Updated Price: $24.99 per day
One Device (single day)
Current Price: $19.99 per day
Updated Price: $29.99 per day
Four Devices (full voyage)
Current Price: $39.99 per day
Updated Price: $44.99 per day
Four Devices (single day)
Current Price: $39.99 per day
Updated Price: $54.99 per day

True - so that would increase the value by $35/per person if you use the 2 casual meals ($14.99 plus the 18% service charge) and $14.99/per person for the Ocean Now activation fee! So another $50/per person. Kind of hard to put a value on the room service since that would be included with Ocean Now.

Sorry, Confused easily.  With plus you don't pay the 14.99 plus 18%. Is there other fee's you do pay if you use the casual meals with plus?

Gratuities are $16-$18 a day. If you only want soda, juice, cocktails and smoothies that is roughly $23. A day. If you don’t want anything else then you save more.

if you do the gratuities and the zero alcohol package which includes bottled water, soda, coffees, juices, smoothies, hot chocolate, Gatorade, and Red Bull that will cost you $45. a day..

With the zero alcohol package and gratuities you total would be $61. A day. You would save a $1 a day by getting the plus package. You would also get items for free.

the idea was to a la carte the drinks , we are not big drinkers of juices, smoothies, hot chocolate, Gatorade, red bull, alcohol ...

however we have a good chunk of OBC so will try to use it the fist day of the cruise to purchase the packages.

Wish they would include choosing your own cabin location as part of the Plus package. Have chosen a different line because of Princess never seeming to offer me the ability to choose a cabin.

We ALWAYS choose our own cabin and book the Plus package with it.

The casual specialties at $39 are included in the Plus 2 dinners?

The casual dining venues are like Alfredo's; NOT the Crown Grill or Sabatinis. Without the package, Alfredo's is $14.99 per person.

Actually, if you just want sodas, juices, mocktails and smoothies, you can get the classic soda package, which is $14.99 per day. With added gratuity, that's closer to $17 per day.$17 + $16 auto-tip is $33 per day. So then you have to decide it the wifi, desserts, etc. are worth an extra $27 per day. We tend to share a 1 device wifi plan (purchased at half price because we are elite) and we just couldn't make the plus package work for us.

We likely would do it for $40 per day, but $60 per day feels like too much when you don't drink alcohol.

Casual dining options on the Sun are:

O’Malleys on deck 7
Kai Sushi on deck 8
Alfredo’s on deck 9

I understand this. However someone said there are pop up lunch specialties that possibly are included?

There are pop-ups for "Casual" venues that would be included with the "Plus" fare. Anything for the "Specialty" venues would not be included with the "Plus" fare. I hope this helps!
