Princess Alaska dining differences

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know if princess cruises have the same dining menus across the fleet?

 

For Alaska sailings, does Princess bring in fresh salmon and seafood from Alaska and feature it on the dining room dinner menus and at the buffet?

 

We may not do an atrial salmon bake in port but are hoping for some authentic Alaskan seafood.

Yes, salmon is definitely offered on Alaska sailings. I don't care much for salmon but DW says it is great.

Salmon was on the dining room menu on the Royal last September inside passage cruise.  I don't think that it was locally sourced in Alaska though, because it the same menu's were offered on the Regal last May.

We have cruised Alaska four times with Princess and I do not recall any special salmon dinners. It is on their regular menu often, but probably not fresh. I really do not recall.any special Alaska menus.

We have seen salmon offered at the buffet, usually overcooked.
