Ship Time VS Port Time

Question about ship time vs the port time.

Puerto Vallarta | 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM does the ship stay on Pacific Time meaning is this stop actually 11am - 11pm Puerto Vallarta time?

Always stay on ship time unless Carnival doses change the clocks

That is my question, does Carnival change the time?  I'm trying to plan my excursions are we arriving at 9am or 11am. Has anyone been to Puerto Vallarta lately on Carnival?

They don't change the time (unless they are doing a TA or TP). You will stay on ship time.

The ship changed time twice during our NYE cruise on the Panorama.  We went forward an hour early in the cruise and then went back an hour later in the cruise.  I can't remember what the time difference was in PV.  I don't believe we were ever more than an hour different between ship and port time.

They typically DO change time on the Panorama Mex Riv itinerary.

Normally the time will change on that itinerary, but it's always up to the Captain.  You can take two different cruises with the same itinerary and the time may stay the same one time and change the next time.

Just be careful if your phone is roaming. Without a settings change it will most likely automatically change to local time.
