Is this an option for a new NCL show?

Would be very interesting for sure, but I think they'd get a better deal on Billboards right now.

That said, if it were up to me, NCL would be getting the rights to Spam A Lot.

The jokes in Spam A Lot were written over 50 years ago.

Ain't no humor better than classic humor.  Three Stooges anybody?

(I'm guessing you missed my May West classic in the "sneaking food out of the Local" thread)

Yes, that was a Coney Island dog in my pocket......   🤣

some of them.

but the musical comedy "spamalot," currently being revived on broadway, was first performed in 2005. many of the jokes are the same as the film, but there was additional material added... as well as additional songs. the current revival has more additional material and topical references.

Schmoopie17 gets to oogle young women.

Thanks for the mention. By the way, the correct term is "ogle".

I should know, I'm an expert.

ogle /ō′gəl, ô′gəl/

intransitive verb

  1. To look or stare at, especially in a desirous manner.

is mrs schmoopie aware of these proclivities, if not, you buy the 1st round of drinks, or im telling.

btw, i still prefer michael corleones wife, and it's the only scene throughout the entire movie where you can see her boobs, so ogle to your hearts content

Million Dollar Quartet for me! It was fantastic on Getaway.

I just saw that and thought it was excellent.  In fact, I think the performers in that show were every bit as good as the original artists. (I dont have much opinion on Carl Perkins as he was a bit before my time)

We could have a show featuring all the Rock Stars who are dead…

We could cover every generation!

There's actually a band, The Hollywood Vampires, and that's their thing. Playing the music of dead Rock Stars.

Band was formed by Alice Cooper, Joe Perry (from Aerosmith) and believe it or not Johnny Depp. I believe one of the others is from Guns N Roses.

I saw them once in AC and they were awesome, if you like mostly hard rock.

I saw them right after David Bowie died and they played a couple of his songs too.

Very fun!

We're sailing Getaway in April and I'm really looking forward to this show.

Actually, we picked Getaway for this sailing to have some different entertainment than what we've seen recently on Escape in 2018, Encore in 2020 and Joy x 2 the last 2 years.

BTW for those mentioning Choir of Man, we've seen it a few times and it's terrific, but it was best before they moved it to the theater and it was in the supper club on Escape in 2018.

That was the best show I've ever seen on a cruise ship!

Not even the song "Kiss"?

Julia Roberts sang it in the movie "Pretty Woman" (bathtub scene).

I vaguely remember hearing about this a little while ago.  I’d go see them!  👍

Not a "movie queen" lol either so dont recognize the name of the movie. But if I heard the song Kiss its very possible I would recognize it as knowing it. I just wouldnt know who sang it.

Sorry, I just googled it and I have to admit that I dont recall hearing the song Kiss  even once.   That must seem unbelievable because I do know who Prince was.
