Port or Starboard Eastbound TA and Westbound TA

Recommended Posts

I am planning my first Fall (October &  November) TA - Eastbound in October and returning Westbound in November. If I decide to pick a balcony or ocean view room, which side of the ship is the best location for good light? Thinking it'll be cool then so sun would be good.

Many thanks!

Starboard on the Eastbound; port on the Westbound.

We have done many Westbound TA's, always port side traveling the Med to FL  for the sun. Don't be fooled by Oct. weather, most days the cabin will be so hot the slider needs to be closed and curtains drawn.

Thanks for your responses.  Daylight in the room without the heat, I suppose. Not sure I'd like an inside room for my first TA(s). I like a room on the cooler side for sleeping but sunlight coming through the widow/balcony when its cool out.

I'm not a sun bather though.😝
