QuickieGlenn Posted January 23 #1 Share Posted January 23 Thinking of trying Celebrity, and the Reflection looks good for 2025 to Aruba Cruised on NCL ( 10x) and Royal (2x) before I see good reviews and some bad We are not big foodies, go to some shows and enjoy the islands what is your Opinion of this ship compared to the other lines Thanks

Just got off Reflection a week ago and found everything to be great. No complaints except a lack of servers walking around in bar and buffet areas... which didn't really make a big difference to us. Normal cabins have not been totally redone but were very clean... maybe needing an upholstery refresh on the couch. Would not hesitate to cruise on Reflection again.
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted January 23 #3 Share Posted January 23 we've mostly done RCI and Princess, with 1.3 NCL cruises and one MSC cruise. We are trying out Reflection in a couple of months, followed by Carnival Horizon doing the same ABC itinerary. 🙂 I'll write a detailed review upon my return, with unprofessional photos. janetz Posted January 23 #4 Share Posted January 23 (edited) We have done many cruises on all the lines, including Celebrity Just did the Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao last month on the Reflection We chose this ship wanting something other then the mega ships and we prefer to not cruise over school vacations The ship shows a little aging is all I can say With that said it was one of our best cruises, very relaxed Rented a car In Curaçao and had a blast! The staff/crew were excellent. Always kind and helpful Food was very good in the MDR and we did a couple of specialty dinings I would do this same cruise again. Love the ship! imlulu Posted January 24 #5 Share Posted January 24 We just got off the ship for same cruise last week. The ship is in very good condition for its age. We thought the food was very good and staff very friendly. Like another poster, we found a lack of servers on deck and theater. Our biggest complaint was entertainment. It was not good IMO. We are in our 50s and found a definite older crowd the first week in January. We have cruised in January before but not in celebrity. We found that by 3 whirlpools were empty. Folks seemed to like earlier dinner time. We did find chairs on deck during day pretty easily. Happy sailing!
cruzfiend Posted January 24 #6 Share Posted January 24 We just got off the Reflection - did a B2B. We loved the ship and crew. As others have said, the shows were not the best and the music around the ship is quite loud. I did not care for the activities person - very "over the top". The cruise director and Captain were great also.

Before the Edge ships came into service, Reflection was our favorite S-class ship. We sailed on her 9 times. I hope you will like her as much as we did.

I find the S-class ships much more accessible than the new E-class ships. It was a wonderful cruise.
