Hello! My name is Tim. I have been reading these forums for the last 3 years. Since I am finally going on a cruise. I thought I would finally create a handle and introduce myself. I am 42 years old. My first cruise will be on February 10th on the Icon of the Seas.

I love reading the "LIVE from" threads on here, so I plan on doing a "LIVE from" on the Icon starting February 10th.

The plan is to update the "LIVE from" nightly around 1am or so that way they'll be fresh updates with pictures and video in the A.M.

Hope some of you will tag along and ask questions and send me on quests to find info out about the ship! 🙂

Are you planning on doing specialty dining or any other upgraded experiences?

We have lunch at Izumi Hibachi and Giovanni’s.

Dinner at Hooked.

Debating if I should book Chops for Valentine’s Day.

1am?  I'm either asleep or feeling no pain. My photos might not come through clear.

My plan is so when you wake up fresh eyed in the morning, they’ll be a thread fresh for viewing 😉

Sounds like a good plan , we really like rccl specialty restaurants. Chops is a real bargain for lunch also.

Welcome to CC! Yes, you picked a whopper of a ship to be your first. Is this an adults only cruise or are you bringing kids? We also picked Giovanni's and Izumi as our specialty restaurants (I know you have Hooked as well but I don't do seafood and felt it wasn't worth the extra money for a non-seafood eater such as myself even though I heard they offer chicken and/or steak).

1 am is still early!  Too much to see and eat for sleeping on such a grand ship!
