mcoler181 Posted January 25 #1 Share Posted January 25 What's the deal with beach towels on MSC? I read that they are in your cabin, how do you go about changing them and can you take them off the ship?
maehara Posted January 25 #2 Share Posted January 25 From when we were on Euribia last year: You get one towel each left in your cabin in embarkation; you can swap used towels for clean ones at a booth on the pool deck. So swap after you’ve had a swim & take the clean one back to your cabin. Not sure about taking them ashore, haven’t needed to try yet. You’re charged for any pool towels that aren’t left in your cabin on disembarkation (€30, if I remember correctly…)

I assume they would let you take them off at Ocean Cay?
Rare alserrod Posted January 25 #4 Share Posted January 25 I read somewhere that you can bring your towels ashore if you want (this is, not only for pool, but also for some beach) and... 30 euro each missing towel after cruise

Rare Essiesmom Posted January 26 #6 Share Posted January 26 You do not need to take your towels off at OC. There is a stand just inside the gate to get towels and turn the in when reboarding. EM
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted January 26 #7 Share Posted January 26 on our Nov 2023 Seascape cruise, the beach/pool towels were already in the cabin. Our cabin attendant replaced the wet towels with dry ones every day. We took them to the beach in ports of call.
Rare alserrod Posted January 26 #8 Share Posted January 26 A matter that may seem silly but... If I take the towel from the boat to the pool, all the towels are the same. Do people end up using yours or is there a risk of confusion? Is there any trick to avoid it?
