Solstice Retreat

Can anyone comment on their experience in a retreat class room on the Solstice.  Considering bidding on upgrade to a sky suite.  Is the retreat deck only accessible by stairs, is there anything there besides deck chairs?   Did you enjoy Luminae, etc.

I don’t think there is a retreat deck on Solstice.  We’ve always enjoyed Luminae, but other than having lunch on embarkation and sea days, I didn’t find it a huge step up from Blu.

The Solstice has not been updated so there is no Retreat Sun Deck.  Suites have Luminae as their dining room and the Retreat Lounge aka Michael’s Club.

On Solstice the Retreat dining room Luminae is on deck 3, accessible via lift or stairs and the Retreat Lounge, Michael's Club is on deck 5, also accessible via lift or stairs. Both are a short walk from lift and stairs and are located towards aft of the ship.

Did  Retreat in October on Solstice -- the Retreat host was amazing who was in Micheals. Michaels Club is "old" but it was a blast, great bartenders. The staff in Luminae was outstanding. Our Butler - always greeted us even morning and ask what could he do for us. We were in a Sky Suite and he was very attentive contrary to what others have experienced since the change.   We did not asked for much but if we did - it was done. I think he got upset that we would go El Bacio in the morning rather then having it delivered!!  There isn't a Retreat Deck area on the Solstice. If you have a lot of sea days its nice to lunch in Luminae - I am not a buffet person.
