How to Private Message a Member?

I am new to this site and can't find a previous Q/A on this topic.  A member wrote me in response to my post on our cruise Roll Call and asked me to private message her concerning some excursions she set up privately.  None of the envelope icons work - either at the top of the page or the one on the member's profile, as they all say the functionality has been disabled.  I tried searching for private messaging help and got -0- hits.  How can I respond to the member?   Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

You cannot. Just post in the roll call and ask for her email address or give her yours.

I suggest you not post an actual email address. Instead write the address out in a human, not machine understandable format like "my name at somewhere com" for myname@somewhere.com.
