commodoredave Posted February 23 #5 Share Posted February 23 When companies make up their own language to describe what consumers are used to calling something else, I often wonder if it’s because they don’t fare well in direct comparisons.
HUNKY Posted March 8 #6 Share Posted March 8 Just like the airlines…What is United Polaris? Is Delta One business class or first class? Anytime I book tickets I need to translate what they are. 1

2SailingNomads Posted May 14 #8 Share Posted May 14 The fact that the only time we saw the Entertainment Manager was when he was introducing an artist speaks volumes to me about lack of guest interaction unlike on Seabourn or Scenic where they mingle with pax every evening.

Who is your entertainment manager. Back in March our CD was very much a mixer. I think his name was Michael (but spelled the Dutch way). He reminded us of Graham Norton, for you Brits. 2SailingNomads Posted May 15 #11 Share Posted May 15 Probably the same guy but we were in one of the many bars pre-dinner and post dinner unless at a show and never once in 18 days saw him. On Seabourn and Scenic CD, assistant CD are always walking around mingling. Others we spoke to said the same including someone being paid to give classes on the ship.
