The answer is maybe. I have seen the awards on the MUTS TV as well as other TVs around the ship and in the cabin.  I have also seen them hold some sort of event, one time they actually had a red carpet.

Our cruise ends on the 9th. We have to get home Sunday in time for the Oscars. We have been watching all the best picture nominees. I would kind of like to watch Barbie again if they have it on the ship.

They do in Princess Live.  Our assistant CDs were in ballgowns, they had trivia questions during commercial breaks. If you answered correctly you won a mini Oscar statue.
