i will not use their air service ever again that's the lesson i learned. i am flying in the day before. Princess's Failing is they are receiving a commission they should earn it when issues arise. Also they received a refund, they should forward it to me without waiting too long. i likely would have been stuck in San Francisco for 2 days, i mitigated my losses by taking quick action

i sailed on holiday crown princess sailing from 12/22/2023-01/07/2024 the cruise overall was fine as expected the overall crew service is exceptional. my ongoing issue is "Princess Easy Air" we had r/t tickets on Alaska Air from Las Vegas to San Francisco flying in on 12/21/2023 returning 01/07/2024. The problem happened when the 737-900 Max was grounded, and the failure of Princess Air to Assist people trying to get home after the cruise is over, I called " Princess Air " when this news broke, to see if they could help finding other ways to get home. they were not aware of the problem. Alaska air thought they could have enough planes cleared to fly it might work out. on Sunday 01/07/2024 about 01:30 am i was getting text alerts about my flight cancellation. I got up quickly attempted to call "Princess Air " and would be hold a long time, in addition to trying to call Alaska Airlines as i realized the later flights were on the same aircraft that was grounded. i called southwest airlines got a rep within 5 minutes they had direct flights on a different aircraft and i quickly bought 2 tickets home. when i got home i dealt with Alaska Airlines through the "Chat Function" The rep put in for the refund and gave us a $250.00 per person flight credit for future travel on Alaska Airlines. when Alaska Airlines issued the Credit (which is slightly more then the tickets i bought on Southwest Airlines) was issued to princess air, which i had a princess rep send an email with the exact dollar amount, my booking number and in information of refund paid by Alaska Airlines, on 01/16/2024. Bottom line is Princess Air Receives a commission for providing a service and they failed to provide that service. i do feel strongly that i will get the refund that Alaska Airlines paid Princess Air will be forwarded to me. What i Learned is to Either book directly or us Princess Air until Closer to the sailing date cxl/ Princess Air and buy my own tickets going in at least 1 day before

how is the internet on this cruise, as i will be sailing on the following cruise 12/22

princess like every other business, is going to exploit the opportunity to add to their bottom line as people have no regard for their financial well being going totally off kilter borrowing to go on trips which are fine if folks can afford them , hotels and other forms of travel are out of site. we need a recession to correct this, and i am adjusting my travel plans like other cruise lines since princess no longer values loyal cruisers. That was coming gradually for a while now. they want new cruisers whom will spend money on more profitable areas vs experienced cruisers. bottom line find your best value for your personal travel needs

geo blue covers the big hits medical evacuation and hospitalization outside the us

geo blue trekker has some medical evacuation coverage. and medical coverage outside the us, chase sapphire preferred has some cxl coverage. the big risks are medical evacuation, and treatment outside the us. they are considered 2nd ary coverage. read geo blue terms and conditions not what the people selling it are saying, i like the fact several trips can be covered for a 1 year policy

looking at a 1 year plan,covering 3 cruises. i realize its 2ndary behind primary which is medicare and supplement, i also have chase sapphire preferred and with medicare supplement the plan i am looking 500k medical coverage 250k medical evacuation. those are the major risks

time to look at other lines, i don't think these price increases will stick as the economy will likely hit a brick wall. also i am 2 cruises from the top tier 1 will be the holiday hawaii cruise 1 next year. i expect business to fall off. and more lines will match tiers

does princess cut people off the casino rate if they don't play a certain amount. or are the reducing or eliminating the cruise discount

all you are going to find are bad games, the only thing good about the ship casino is restrooms near by

do your test online if possible if internet is bad, test while onboard in Victoria . if one disembarks you are likely to get nothing out of princess, when i booked my cruise princess they would perform the tests free of charge. i will likely not go with princess as they do not honor their word

if you have aarp united healtcare suppliment call them if not call your suppliment provider you have an medicare hmo i dont think so

if one is on traditional Medicare and a suppliment that has emergency travel coverage outside of the usa such as AARP united health care it covers Quarantine outside the usa it has 50000 medical coverage including costs of hotel, check with your medicare suppliment

i would not leave the ship to take the test as if someone is positive and needs to quarantine the issue if princess keeps its word on covering costs vs taking legal action, they already broke their word on administering the tests, once my July Alaska and December hawaii cruise are completed i will Not sail with them again
