Cruisinita Posted February 19 #1 Share Posted February 19 Can anyone confirm if there are still footstools on the Concierge Class balconies? I read they were removed but when I called Celebrity they said there are still footstools. We are booked on the Eclipse and would bring inflatables if needed, but hate to pack them if not. Thank you for any responses.
bEwAbG Posted February 19 #2 Share Posted February 19 The phone agents are often the last to know. I'd take them if you want to guarantee you'll have them. Who knows with Celebrity anymore. They're making constant changes with zero warning.
Rare Turtles06 Posted July 14 #3 Share Posted July 14 I have the same question as the OP, and am hoping that someone who has sailed recently on the Eclipse in a Concierge Class cabin can tell us whether there are (still) footstools on the balcony. And any recent cruisers on other S-class ships, please weigh in with any relevant info. Thanks!
Rare foodsvcmgr Posted July 14 #4 Share Posted July 14 They were there in January however all the balcony furnishings were heavily worn and needed replacing. When that occurs I expect the footstools could be history.
minniemouse427 Posted July 14 #5 Share Posted July 14 We were on the ship two cruises ago (6/28-7/7) and there were stools on our concierge balcony. 1

I was actually quite shocked that they would still be using furniture that was in such bad condition. Edited July 14 by michri

Rare keesar Posted July 15 #11 Share Posted July 15 Bring some touch up paint for the chairs.
Rare CTSandy Posted July 15 #12 Share Posted July 15 Off the Eclipse last Sunday and there were still footstools on our Concierge cabin balcony. The furniture could definitely use some freshening - dining room chairs almost all had pretty visible wear on the arms - one area on Deck 4, just before walking into the casino, smelled mildewed or musty. Would not stop me from sailing her, staff was great; I have two more cruises on her this year.
