NCL Dawn

has anyone heard if the ship is going into dry dock in April for a refurb? someone mentioned that in a post but can't seem to find if its true or not/

According to Norwegian's website, the Dawn had a dry dock in 2021.  So I would think that the next drydock is in 2026.

 

I did find a cruise for the Dawn this April-- a 10 Day one-- did not look to see if there was more than one scheduled.

Looks like there is a gap from April 10th (ends in Barcelona)  to April 26th (begins in Rome), according to cruise mapper.  So it could be drydock or some type of repairs

I asked the CN folks while onboard in December - the answer was a whopping yea, that kinda sounds familiar...

charters still usually show on cruisemapper.

Just come off the Dawn and was advised it was going into dry dock in April in Marseille - they said it isn't having a re-fit just some TLC as it is looking very tired and rusting

Glad to hear this.  We will. Be sailing her for a family cruise in June and the others have not sailed NCL before, so I’m hoping for a good impression.  What is the current productions show they have?

I just came off Dawn. Elements was on my druise. And a nice rock/soul/pop dance and sing show with the production cast. I liked the music show, Dodn't see Elements since I've seen it before.

is this still scheduled? i can see it on NCL website but shoreexcursions isnt showing any excursions for it, nor are other sites. A little confused.

I am booked on the previous cruise Nov 2nd; Barcelona to Cape Town.  As of today I haven't received any info on changes. Shore excursions are not listed yet.
