idocdlw Posted February 21 #1 Share Posted February 21 It's been approx 6 years since I last used cruisecritic. I would like to update my profile picture but have yet to figure out how to do so. I've searched the forum for this info, but have not found. If someone can help me out with that, I would appreciate it very much.
jsn55 Posted February 21 #2 Share Posted February 21 I just looked, upper right corner ... clicked on either my name or my photo and got a drop-down list. Under 'Profile' I was offered the opportunity to change my photo.

On the bottom left of your current profile picture is a photo icon. Select that and follow the instructions on uploading a new photo.

Iris5383 Posted May 2 #5 Share Posted May 2 I followed the instructions as given above. I get an error message saying my photo is too big. (see attached screenshot.) The photo I want to use was the same size as the photo I removed. I made the replacement smaller, but I still get the error message. Any help would be appreciated. You need to reduce your file size below 1MB. There are various ways to do that depending on file format and what devices you use.
Iris5383 Posted May 2 #7 Share Posted May 2 Thanks, Charles! I used the option to save for WebP in photoshop. It worked! I appreciate your help.
napria Posted July 3 #8 Share Posted July 3 I tried to change my profile picture but what changed was the banner behind my small, round profile picture. I can’t seem to find where I change my picture that appears by my posts. I’m on an iPad, if that helps. thanks

toolworker Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM #12 Share Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM Is there supposed to be a clickable photo icon somewhere here? I clicked all over, including the green circle and my name, but nothing clicked back.
toolworker Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM #13 Share Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Huh. As soon as I posted that, it started showing a different format profile page with the camera icon.
