I only purchased the stocks yesterday

It may take a day or two for your account to show up or it may be that Stockperks does not recognise Robinhood (just love that name for a share account😄) in which case you will have to contact Shareperks

Thanks - it does say automatic linking is for the US, but I assumed as Robinhood is American and my stocks are in USD it would work.

Anyway, Robinhood have issued me an account activity statement with my name etc on showing I purchased 100 shares, I’ve submitted that for manual processing with Stockperks - will update if that works in case anyone else has the same issue with RH in the future.

Out of interest are you from the UK or the US as if you are in the UK you would normally buy the Carnival UK shares that are quoted in GBP

UK

I don’t think I should give up my day job for any of this investing. 😂

I purchased CCL Carnival Corp 100 shares for around $15 each, Robinhood just converts GBP to USD. The price with HL who I used before but was trying to avoid the fees is indeed in GBP and lower than what I paid.

Maybe I’ll just sell on Robinhood and go back to HL. I’ve done this before through them, never with RH though….

Wouldn’t surprise me if I’ve bought 100 shares in a fishing company off the coast of Argentina by mistake…. 😂

Stockperks have just approved my Robinhood account activity statement, have just applied for the P&O onboard spend for my next cruise.

That’s a relief. 😁

Can anyone advise how the onboard credit is allocated, as I’m aware it’s one per room.

I’m travelling with a friend under the same booking in my room but we each have our own cruise cards linked to our own credit cards. Will the onboard spend from shares be split across both our cards or apply just to mine as the stock holder?

Thanks

If you both people in the cabin own 100 shares each can you both claim, or is it only 1 claim per cabin?

Only one.

From memory I think that it is one per booking

Submitted my onboard spend request through StockPerks 2 weeks ago and it’s still showing as pending. Have emailed them last week but no response. Just about to hit the 3 week sailing deadline so I might be out of luck.

Preferred the old email method as if you had emailed 3 weeks before sailing they still seemed to honour it even if they action it a week before you sail. Hopefully the same with the app but so far nothing.

It may just be an excuse. I applied last night and received acceptance at 10.30 am. P&O had sent new confirmation at 9.08am

.

Well that fills me with optimism. 😂

Hopefully I’m not stuck “in progress” for much longer…

P&O confirmed the onboard spend was added to my booking days ago.

Stockperks app still showing as “in progress” and no new booking invoice/email was received so I’d not have known. Maybe it was emailed to the travel agent I booked with instead.

Few free pints onboard now, cheers. 😀

Almost certainly - if you book with a TA then all communication from P&O is via them and they should have forwarded it on to you.
