OBC used to book specialty dining , what happens if I need to cancel the reservation?

I’m going to use OBC to book Murano but may have to cancel because of a timing conflict. If I cancel the dinner reservation will the OBC be credited back to my account or do I lose it? Thanks

If you cancel it will go back to your OBC account.

When you cancel the fee goes back to original form of payment.    For OBC it is refunded to OBC within seconds for Credit Cards can take 7-10 days.

On the Edge in January, while onboard we canceled a restaurant reservation that we paid and booked with a CC before the cruise. The cost was refunded to our shipboard OBC account but with a notation it would was a refundable OBC if not used.   We did not use the credit and the day after the cruise ended it was refunded back to our CC. This was a first for us.
