ALSPAUGHDOLL Posted February 28 #1 Share Posted February 28 We are headed out of Port Canaveral this summer, we are arriving early and have a full day to spend on the beach. We will have 6 teenagers with us, ages 16-19. What is the best beach for us to hang out at for a day. They will probably want access to food and perhaps some shopping but most importantly they want the water. With 6 teenagers we will probably want access to adult beverages!😄
cruisegirl1976 Posted February 29 #2 Share Posted February 29 you may want to check out the cocoa beach pier area.
cunnorl Posted February 29 #3 Share Posted February 29 I think the teenagers and you would enjoy the area downtown by Coconuts. The beach is a nice sandy beach. the pier area can sometimes be gravely. There are lots of food and drink options . Coconuts provides beverage service on the beach. Plus there are lifeguards, some beach areas do not.
Rare wolft927 Posted March 1 #4 Share Posted March 1 We stayed at the Best Western Cocoa Beach in January. Now not very warm but was right by the pier and we had an ocean front room which had great views of the beach. Free parking as well and had plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Also if you like to get up early you can watch the Ships line up and pass by heading back into port Canaveral.

Weather was great and saw lots of people enjoying the beach by the pier. Edited March 2 by Sand and Seas
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted March 5 #6 Share Posted March 5 Thanks Wolft927 and Sand and Sea for the great info. We are already booked at Best Western for a few days before and after our cruise in May. Really looking forward to our extra time in Cocoa Beach.
