savva0122000 Posted March 5 #1 Share Posted March 5 Hey Cruise Critics, It's been a while since we've been able to get aboard on a cruise ship (indy in 2017) so would be interested to hear how the line has changed since then. No doubt the prices are even more extortionate and the sell up is more relentless but would value any hints and tips. We are seasoned cruisers especially with RCCL; going on Serenade for B2B cruises in October ex. Tampa. Not been to the Caribbean since 2006 - so especially interested in how 2 of our fave stops (St Thomas and St Maarten) have changed and where to go! smokeybandit Posted March 5 #2 Share Posted March 5 Search this forum for those ports. There is a lot of info.

kruzerci Posted March 5 #4 Share Posted March 5 There’s countless posts about this recently. Expect worse food, only once a day room make up, and no more cruise compass- a lot more app focused.
Crazy planning mom Posted March 5 #5 Share Posted March 5 We were just in both ports. St. Maarten has been really affected by hurricane and some building damage is still visible. We still had a great day. Hubby is into planes so Maho beach was the favorite for him.
George C Posted March 5 #6 Share Posted March 5 St Thomas and St Maarten are two of our favorite ports , some of the stores in St Thomas have closed but still a great port .
sgmn Posted March 6 #7 Share Posted March 6 Make sure you have the Royal Caribbean app. So much info on there. You can access it on board even if you don't have an Internet package. Paper copies of the daily cruise compass are only available if you specifically ask your room steward for one, otherwise all the information is on the app.
