satxdiver Posted May 5 #51 Share Posted May 5 We were on the Emerald for a 15 day cruise last month. The door signs were present but not in a large number. Our steward did not mention at any time about door signs being not permitted. So not sure about the "fleet wide policy". We sail again this fall and will see if it is enforced at that time and ship. I'm thinking that it was just on one ship by a irritated manager. Thankfully most people are reasonable when applying decorations.
Rare KKB Posted May 9 #54 Share Posted May 9 Just got off the Regal last Friday after 28 days. Our 1st room steward explicitly told us no door decorations. We moved for the 2nd leg (twice actually, due to very loud mechanical hum in 1st room of 2nd leg). Neither of those stewards said anything. THAT BEING SAID--I saw plenty of door decorations. 1
memoak Posted May 9 #55 Share Posted May 9 Just off the Ruby last month. Just a few door decorations and none very elaborate or political in nature
