Time to disembark, Split, Croatia

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I’m cruising in May and was planning on booking a bike tour in Split Croatia.  The ship docks at 8 am and the tour starts at 9 am.   This is not a tendered port.

Does anyone know if this will be doable or is it too tight?

Thanks,

Carolyn

The tour operator is hopefully familiar with the unloading process and will provide some leeway. Additionally, assuming the tour includes others from your cruise, you will not be alone.  You may end up waiting for others who are running late.  For peace of mind, let them know you will disembark as soon as possible and ask if they will wait should you be delayed.

Sorry should have been more clear.  It is a 19 min walk from port to where tour starts….

You should be fine. Be sure you've got it Google mapped so you don't waste time with any wrong turns.

And the idea of letting your tour provider know that you're coming from a ship is also a good one.
