Luderitz question

There used to be a stand/canopy set up in town offering a trip to kolmanskop. Someone posted a photo but I cannot now find it.  Does this still exist!

We came back in December  from Ludawitz, there was a stand on the Dock with trips to Kolmanskop.

This is from 2023 - It wasn't there in 2024 but we arrived after the park closed earlier on a sunday

Hope you have better luck than we did on January 12th.

It's a tender port and the captain decided that the sea was too rough to tender passengers safely ashore so we had to make do with views of the town through binoculars.

So near yet so far away!

It's interesting about this being a tender port.  Our cruise doesn't have the little anchor symbol indicating tender.   Do all ships tender in?

Ours had the anchor symbol and it was a relatively small ship (1200 pax maximum). There were no excursions arranged by the company (Phoenix Reisen) either, and no on shore travel guides would take advance bookings because of possible tender problems.

However, it could also have been because larger ships were docked and there was no room for us to do likewise.

Thanks.  We have a trip to kolmanskop (ghost town) with Oceania booked so if we can't get in then O will just refund the money
