What's the earliest you have been on the ship in the Fort Lauderdale port?

10:30 to 11:00 depending on how fast they clear the ship. They always say cabins won't be open till around 1 though. I have gone to my cabin a bunch of times before 1 just to put my carry on in and had no problems.

FWIW the last two times we boarded in PE we were on the ship by 10:30.

The terminal will open once most of the disembarking passengers have been cleared, that is around 9:30. There is no priority getting into the terminal and going through security. It's on big line. Once through security the line splits into green lane, those with their medallions and blue lane, those without. It took me less than 5 minutes to pick up mine at the pier. As others have stated boarding may begin as early as 10:30, but it might be closer to 11am. Once baarding begins it goes quickly.
