Book hotel now or wait

I'm sailing out of San Juan March 2025. I've taken a look at some of the hotel prices and they seem to be priced a bit high. I started looking at Air BNB places, but I honestly don't know where to stay.

I currently have NCL airfare and transportation on my reservation (first time having this). I'd want to come in the day before the cruise and leave the day after so that I have time to see San Juan (one night needed on each side of the cruise).

Never been there but have two recommendations.

Is it not possible to have two days precruise and just fly home afterwards? We find its a bit of a hassle sorting stuff still needed etc when re packing, however we do this sometimes if flights are cheaper a day or so later.

I would book your hotel asap with a refundable rate so you can always change it if it becomes cheaper. My experience is that prices (nearly) always go up.

Checkout the hotel recommended above.

happy planning

I will be sailing out of San Juan in January. My husband prefers a beach hotel location, so we're looking in the Isla Verde and Condado areas.

Consider La Concha with a high floor ocean view rooom….

Assist with link to discussions of places at a lower price point (guest houses etc..)

Thank you for this recommendation. I didn't realize La Concha was a part of Marriott and I have points that need to be used up.
