roomba920 Posted April 21 #1 Share Posted April 21 (edited) Please forgive me if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if it's possible to pay for specialty dining, like the Chef's Table with onboard credit prior to the cruise? Thanks in advance. Edited April 21 by roomba920
skynight Posted April 21 #2 Share Posted April 21 No. Only excursions can be paid for with OBC before you board. For everything else you have to wait until you board, or pay when booked with a credit card.

Crystaltipps67 Posted April 21 #4 Share Posted April 21 We had this dilemma. I decided to wait until on board (Sky) and went straight (well, after I'd got a glass of Prosecco in my hand) to the restaurant we wanted to book (The Catch). I was able to get the days and times I wanted and they had lots of availability.
XBGuy Posted April 21 #5 Share Posted April 21 Also, I might mention that the Chef's Table cannot be booked, at all, prior to boarding. Once on board you can request a Chef's Table invitation by calling the DINE line. If you are in a full suite, the Suite Concierge can help you. My understanding is that the older (e.g., Grand Class) ships now have a designated Suite Concierge even though they do not have a Suite Concierge Lounge. Others here on Cruise Critic have reported that they have engaged the assistance of the headwaiter in various dining venues to make a request for a Chef's Table invitation.
