I was on Luminosa last year and we walked to Creek Street. It was just a few blocks. 1
Cruise_explorer5 Posted April 25 #3 Share Posted April 25 We are on the Luminosa ( Transpacific from Brisbane) and will visit Ketchican in about 3 days. However, according to Ms. Emily Camp ( the naturalist/ lecturer on Luminosa), we will dock at the pier not too far from town and it is walkable to town. If you cruise with Luminosa this coming summer, you will see Emily onboard with a lot of informations about Alaska. She is an expert on marine biology and specialized in Alaska. We enjoyed her lecture on sea days and learned a lot too. 1
Rare shof515 Posted April 25 #4 Share Posted April 25 Almost all cruise lines dock right in town, usually near Front St. There is one and only one cruise line that docks a few miles down the road in their own area

They dock at Ward Cove.

FredZiffle Posted April 27 #8 Share Posted April 27 I thought Creek Street was overhyped for what's there. Took us maybe 15 minutes to walk around. Of more interest to us was walking up the trail (Married Man's Trail?) and watching the salmon spawning.
