honeymooners10 Posted May 5 #1 Share Posted May 5 Just returned and I bought my vases in board!!!! Which I LOVE!!! husband thinks they were made in China.. I disagree and say made in the Netherlands, but there are no marks in either.. anyone know by chance for a fact where they are made at?
canadianbear Posted May 6 #2 Share Posted May 6 I have no idea but I purchased 2 on our South Pacific cruise when I ordered flowers for our cabin as we were on for 35 days. I also ordered 2 for friends on the ship. I found it difficult to decide which vase as they were all so pretty!
lynn2002 Posted May 6 #3 Share Posted May 6 Do they sell the vases on board. I thought they looked very pretty online but couldn't decide which one so would like to see them before deciding.

Rare Mary229 Posted May 6 #5 Share Posted May 6 They are pretty vases. Perhaps you can write guest relations and ask. I have written them with such questions, it takes them a while to track it down but they usually will get back to you.
Rare Gail & Marty sailing away Posted May 6 #6 Share Posted May 6 You can order them on the ship, they are shipped out of Miami, shipping cost is a flat rate regardless of the number of vases you order you order 1pc or 10pc is the same price. 1
raelyn Posted May 6 #7 Share Posted May 6 I purchased two on the Koningsdam. At one of the flower arranging demonstrations, the florist said they were made in Holland.
Rare QuattroRomeo Posted May 6 #8 Share Posted May 6 (edited) It might be this company that makes them. Their website shows one 4-tulip vase, and those miniature houses that you find in the Dutch Cafe. The vases on board aren't signed or stamped on the bottom like the expensive ones are elsewhere; however they might be producing them specially for HAL. Just a guess! BeachBum47 Posted May 7 #9 Share Posted May 7 I think they’re made in Delft in The Netherlands. It’s where the famous blue and white Dutch pottery comes from.
Holly g Posted Saturday at 09:58 PM #10 Share Posted Saturday at 09:58 PM The florist on the Rotterdam said the vases are made in Holland but there is no mark on the vase. On our trans Atlantic he ran out of some of the designs. I was hoping when we stopped in Rotterdam new ones would come on board but they didn’t. Disappointed in that. Rare Haljo1935 Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM #11 Share Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM My understanding is they're handmade in Netherlands. Some of my older ones have a small mark on the bottom. You can order and have shipped as @Gail & Marty sailing away said or you can buy onboard. They make wonderful gifts. HAL has the best florists.
