Combining Captain's Club discounts with Flash sale?

This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find it.

 

If there is a 30% off flash sale on wifi can I use my Captain's Club discount on top of that?

Harsh reality is those flash sales pretty much negate the value of our CC discounts.

Or the other way to think about it is that the Captains Club discount means that you don’t really have to pay much attention to flash sale announcements

It is one or the other, whichever is better, but not both in combination.  Anecdotally, we just used our CC discount to upgrade from classic to premium beverage and base to premium wifi on our upcoming Eclipse cruise.  The CC discount was significantly better in our case.

Actually you need to pay attention because  sometimes the flash sale prices are well below the CC discounts.  My CC discount for wife is 30% but on our last cruise I picked it up on a flash sale for 50% off making my CC discount basically worthless.
