BELIEVE ME; at a certain price point you’d say yes to that kind of commute.
I mean I’ll TRY..but like I said earlier; it’ll be a princess one so I’m not sure if cross-posting is frowned upon.

Also; just landed at 10:50pm PST. Still have to get to my car then drive 90 minutes home. Weeeeee

So, for those keeping track; I woke up at 7:30am EST; and was in the airport at 11am EST; haha.

I've seen multiple other cruisers post the link to their Live reviews across many of their threads, regardless of cross-posting... I think this is the exception they allow most of the time...

Rest well today, hope your appointment with your dermotologist goes well...

Thanks!

I finally got home at 1:30; and finally passed out at 2:30 after unpacking a little (meds and stuff) and cleaning the cats litter box.

I stepped on the scale this morning; I only gained exactly 1lb (Which kind of surprises me; with as much exercise as I did I would have thought I’d of lost)

This will conclude our program.

Thanks again for everyone following along. The next installment will start June 28th.

I just found your posting about the Celebration with pictures (we are thinking of doing it), and hope to read the rest of your review when I find time.

My advice for the next time you cruise @KarmaCruisers is to just enjoy the cruise. While you were on your cruise on the Celebration this woman was on the Liberty also playing the Dragon Link slot machines and pulled out six figures! I have no idea how much $$ she put in but I highly doubt it involved gift cards and math problems. 😉

How ever you wanna look at it.
From now on I’m just going to do things that are in writing. (Not gamble, even if it was an AP)

It’s not the money because I honestly couldn’t care less about it…it’s about me doing something I said i wasn’t going to do..AND also eating later than I wanted to and now it’s 11:09 and I’m JUST getting back in the room; and I need to wake up early and put my mile in. Maybe I can take a nap after doing the mile.

For anyone that wants to pile on; I played back the $950 that was left of the $200 (cost $1800) gift card…and tossed in the fire $3000 of my own.

I am now at ~15,000 slot points; which is rediccc.

Luckily my next four cruises are Princess in comped Penthouse suites with plus package and $2500 freeplay (which I’ll wash out on video poker, and that I can trust to get 90% of it returned in my pocket) (so that’ll be like $8000 over the course of the rest of the year)

At least know i know; it was an experiment and it failed epically. (I almost *knew* the slots were MUCH lower payback than Nevada, even though the Signage and documentation says their Class-III machines with return’s in line with Nevada.

VERY curious about Princess...

We are mostly TX Hold Em or video poker players. (tho I am finding the TX Hold Em table game allows me to play for hours & not lose much...tho I avoid the extra house bets)

We sailed Carnival once after sending them our Caesars card. (during COVID there was nowhere else to go so 6 trips/yr made us look like bigger gamblers than we are, lol).

We now have a constant stream of free rooms from Carnival. Interiors but we aren't in our room anyway.

We are certain we gamble no more on Carnival than other cruises...but Princess is the only other one looking our way, and it is never more than a few hundred dollars of casino cash.

I actually don't usually play the regular VP as it has 10 coin min. Usually play Super Times Pay or Ultimate X.

Are you saying the regular VP has a 90% theo return rate? (seems it should be higher looking at the pay table, but I'd need to look again). Might be worth taking a decent bankroll on the next Princess cruise & see what we can do!

Thoroughly enjoying your TR...I'm over at Sonia's site occasionally. (more cruising & less Vegas these days now that we retired).

Just booked Celebration & very excited to sail her.

Heading over to read your next one--we sailed the Discovery to Alaska Sept 2022 & loved it! (just in a lowly balcony, lol)

Congrats on the weight loss...28 days on the Regal in April, food was amazing. We ordered what we wanted (rarely dessert, not our thing) & drank what we wanted...beauty of a cruise is the walking all over the ship! (plus lots in Europe ports) Only gained 2 pounds!
