Iceland cruise things to do pre cruise

Thinking come in a day early before the cruise. 
 

Typically the cruise day so anyone to any touring than board the ship? I was thinking after breakfast walk around the capital and than board the ship

Coming in a day or two early is always a good idea.

there is a hop on / hop off bus that's decent ... not the best we've used but decent. It will take you to the cluster of attractions I've circled after a tour of the city ... obviously not the only place you can get on/off
