Private Excursions

I did a search and wasn't able to find the answer to my question.

 

It's been a hot minute since we cruised (pre-covid) and before, we always booked private excursions unless we were in a tender port. Can we still do this or do we have to book through the ship? I know the reasons to book through the ship.

Yes book private excursions is no problem.  There was a brief period after the Covid shutdown that required cruise line only excursions but that is long over.

Definitely prefer private tours , cheaper and less crowded.

Nothing changed. For a very short  time in 2021 ships excursions were mandatory. Not anymore.
